Article 9 Subcommittee
Currently there is a review process underway to make certain amendments to Article 9, primarily to clarify a number of issues through change to the Official Comments, but also through certain substantive amendments to the statute itself. Jim Prendergast, SVP and General Counsel of the UCC Division, is an official observer of this review process. In an effort to solicit your comments, due to the importance of the revision process, please review the notes of the meeting prepared by Professor Stephen L. Sepinuck of Gonzaga University School of Law. Professor Sepinuck serves as the ABA Advisor to the Review Committee.
