Jill C. Sharif serves as Vice President - National Sales Director for the UCC Division of The First American Title Insurance Company. Ms. Sharif is a graduate from the University of Connecticut (B.A. 1993), with a major in economics.
In February 2000, Ms. Sharif joined First American Title Insurance Company as an Internal Auditor for the state office in Connecticut. In September 2000, she was promoted to Assistant Regional Controller for the Northeast Region in Boston, Massachusetts. In June 2002, Ms. Sharif accepted a position as a sales and marketing representative for the UCC Division. Her initial territory was New England and then expanded to cover the eastern third of the country.
In her current role, Ms. Sharif is responsible for sales, marketing, and business development for The First American Title Insurance Company's array of UCC products and services. As such, she has provided numerous presentations on the application of the EAGLE 9® UCC Insurance Policy for Lender's and Buyer's, as well as, Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, and title insurance for real estate mezzanine loan transactions.
Ms. Sharif is currently serving her second term as a Board Member for the Northeast TMA Chapter and currently serves as their Treasurer and Membership Co-Chair. She is also a Board Member for the Chesapeake Chapter.
